The Bachelor of Business Administration program of SMC has 180 ECTS credits. The Executive MBA program of SMC has 90 ECTS credits. As per the European Quality Framework (EQF), Doctorate programs (EQF Level 8) do not have an official ECTS credit allocation. Some institutions may list ECTS for orientation. SMC does not allocate ECTS to its Doctorate programs.

All you need in order to study at SMC is a reliable internet connection. The best experience can be achieved with a standard Laptop, Notebook, or PC. You can also have a great study experience on a Tablet, and even a Smart Phone.

All courses of SMC are structured as real live lectures in a virtual classroom, where students meet with their faculty and obtain the skills and competences first hand.

Each course follows a 8-week calendar. Each week covers one unit (8 units in total). You follow your courses in synchronous cohorts. Each unit is lectured live via Microsoft Teams, facilitated by the faculty of SMC, where the group (cohort) meets to learn the respective skills, and discusses assignments and projects with their fellow students and tutor.

Physical attendance is not required. The distance learning programs offered by SMC are 100% online via our state-of-the-art eLearning system.

SMC does not offer any on-site programs.

Students from all over the world may join SMC and attend our programs. Since 100% online you may study from any place, country, or region. All you need is an internet connection.
