Is Signum Magnum College accredited?+
Yes. SMC is licensed under Malta’s regulatory framework for further and higher education. Institutional and program status can be verified through the MFHEA register and Malta Qualifications Database.
Are SMC degrees recognized?+
SMC’s accredited degrees are recognized. Country-specific title use, professional recognition, or further-study decisions remain subject to the relevant national authority, institution, or employer.
Is Signum Magnum College the same as Swiss Management Center?+
No. Signum Magnum College is the Malta-based higher education institution operated by SMC Education Group Ltd and licensed by MFHEA under institution license 2019-014. Swiss Management Center is a separate Swiss organization and is not part of SMC Education Group.
What role does Swiss Management Center have in relation to SMC?+
Swiss Management Center currently acts as an external recruiting partner for specified SMC programs. It may refer prospective students, but it does not operate SMC programs, make admission or academic decisions, maintain SMC academic records, or award SMC degrees.
Can a Swiss Management Center or former SMC University award be validated as an SMC degree?+
No. Awards issued by Swiss Management Center or the former SMC University are not Signum Magnum College awards. They remain the responsibility of the issuing institution and cannot be validated, converted, reissued, replaced, or transformed into Signum Magnum College degrees.
How are SMC programs delivered?+
SMC’s accredited taught programs use synchronous online delivery with live classes led by human academics. Doctoral research follows the delivery and supervision model defined for the relevant doctorate.
Does Transknowlogy replace SMC faculty?+
No. Accredited SMC programs remain human-led and synchronous. Transknowlogy adds individualized preparation, explanation, practice, feedback, and academic navigation around that model.
Is physical attendance required?+
No. SMC programs are delivered online and do not require attendance at a physical campus.
How is a course structured?+
Taught courses follow an eight-unit calendar with synchronous cohort activity, live academic engagement, resources, assignments, and assessment.
What is the difference between a DBA and a PhD?+
The DBA is a professional doctorate that integrates advanced management study with applied organizational research and intervention. The PhD is a research doctorate centered on an original contribution to knowledge through eight formal phases.
Does the PhD have a taught curriculum?+
No. The PhD is structured as a governed research journey: Letter of Intent, proposal, committee review, commencement, MPhil-to-PhD transfer, thesis development, examination and defence, and conferral.
How can I verify SMC independently?+

Can anyone guarantee admission or graduation?+
No. Admission, progression, assessment, and degree conferral are academic decisions made under SMC’s institutional processes.
Where must tuition be paid?+
Tuition payments must follow official SMC invoicing instructions. Never transfer money to a personal or unverified intermediary account.
What technology do I need?+
A reliable internet connection and a current laptop or desktop computer provide the best experience. Tablets can support many study activities.
