Cookies and local or session storage can keep information in a browser. The site uses necessary service functions and one optional purpose: website and campaign measurement. Necessary functions are not presented as optional. No personalized-advertising or social-media category is enabled by this choice.
Your controls
Before you choose, and after “Reject optional”, Google tags remain blocked. No page, engagement, inquiry or application events are sent by this site to Google Analytics. “Allow analytics” enables Google Analytics and first-party measurement of the website and campaign sources. These measurements help SMC understand pages, program and application links, inquiry submissions, application starts and completed applications. Cookie-free browser events require the same choice.
Open “Cookie settings” in the footer and select “Reject optional” to withdraw at any time. Withdrawal stops optional collection, clears accessible Google analytics cookies and optional source and session storage, and reloads the page. A previous lawful processing operation is not undone. A requested inquiry, application, contract, payment or academic record is handled independently of optional analytics. You can ask about earlier personal data through the contact in the Privacy Notice.
Measurement and privacy
Google Analytics and Google campaign-conversion measurement receive only allowed event fields. Names, email addresses, application content, uploaded documents, payment details and application identifiers are excluded from analytics events. Page URLs preserve only allowed campaign fields after consent; unrelated queries, fragments and referral queries are excluded. Advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalization remain denied. This choice does not enable remarketing, personalized ads or cross-site advertising profiles.
Cloudflare hosts and secures the site. Its automatically injected Web Analytics browser beacon is disabled. Successful public document requests and registered campaign-route entries are counted separately on the server. They do not identify individual people and must not be treated as sessions, unique visitors or Google Ads billable clicks. The Privacy Notice explains purposes, recipients, retention, rights and contact details.
