SMC was founded on the principle to make higher education accessible to all, regardless of background or circumstances. Our mission is to be open to people, opinions, methods and ideas. Tolerance is the cornerstone of everything we strive to contribute towards equality, diversity, and social justice.
What began as an adventurous undertaking almost 20 years ago – a business school where people could learn free from the limitations of time and space via cutting-edge technology – has turned into a global movement, which was never as relevant as today. With students from almost 150 countries around the world, tens of thousands of students and alumni, and a network of experts that span the globe, the SMC community is vast and vibrant. The ideas, energy and passion that fuel our community have always been boundless. We bring the members of our community together, from Dubai to Zurich, from Valetta to Chicago, from Hong Kong to Vienna, from any A to any B, so that they continue learning, connecting and sharing their experiences and expertise in a way that can accelerate our shared pursuit of positively impacting people around the world. Our community is open to anyone, anywhere, who wants to be part of our leading network of purpose-driven individuals, organizations, governments and universities around the world and we recognizes the fact that the community would be nothing without the people you’ll meet. When you join SMC you will find thousands of like-minded people who all have different backgrounds, experience and perspectives, but are all united by a shared interest in developing new ideas and improving the state of the world.
